Joy Elvin (Little Compton, RI) earned her MA in marine site management and before her marriage she managed a shipwreck preserve in the Caribbean. She now teaches the RIMAP class in underwater preserves and maritime museums, and as a RIMAP Board member, encouraged RIMAP’s interest in supporting the UNESCO Convention.
