The UNESCO Accredited NGOs Network has co-created this database to record and showcase their activities, initiatives, and projects to investigate, promote and protect underwater cultural heritage internationally. The database contains a section dedicated to record each NGO’s details and experts operating and active in the field of maritime archaeology. Links with the UN SDGs are also stated for each project. Part of the contents of the database is restricted from access by the general public to protect sensitive information. This data is nonetheless presented in an appropriate and accessible way on the UNESCO Accredited NGOs Website.
