Further the goals of the 2001 Convention, the World Heritage Convention, the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development Cooperating with the Ocean Decade Heritage Network, the SHA Advisory Council on Underwater Archaeology, and Universities Cooperating with the Lloyds Register Foundation and ICUCH on producing books and workshops on the Threats to our Ocean Heritage from: 1) Potentially Polluting Wrecks, 2) Bottom Trawling, and 3) Deep Seabed Mining Assisting Mexico and Cuba in developing and managing MPAs for both natural and cultural heritage
